| Services - Honoring and Remembering Your
Funeral with burial - This approach will accommodate almost all cultural practices and may include a wake where family and friends can visit to pay respects to the deceased. This aspect can be followed by a worship service and an organized procession to the cemetery or final resting place. You may also choose to have a burial immediately without any type of service or viewing. Funeral with cremation - While the process of cremation is less expensive, you may choose to include the option of a funeral to honor the life of your loved one. Direct burial or cremation - The funeral home staff handles the final tasks without family or friends present. Graveside service - Choose to not include a wake or worship service. Family and friends meet the funeral home staff at the cemetery where a clergy member performs a service. Cremation - An alternative to burial. The cremated remains may be placed in a decorative urn, which you can purchase from us. You may also choose to scatter the ashes (a service Pelham Funeral Home provides at no charge to our families). Find out more about cremation. Memorial service - occurs at the funeral home or place of worship. It involves rites, ceremonies, and commemorations without the body present. Sometimes, families choose to have the cremated remains present. Options for services:
