Preplanning a funeral for a loved one or yourself takes the burden off of your family and friends during a time of grief and sadness.

Preplanning a funeral allows you to select a funeral service which will meet your needs and wishes.

Planning in advance, you will gain peace of mind knowing that the difficult decisions are made, relieving your loved ones of making decisions when they may be emotional unprepared to cope with them.

Also, don't be shy about your choices. Share them with family members and make sure at least one person has access to your documents so that your wishes can be met.

Please do not leave the only copy of your preplanning documents in a safe-deposit box or with an attorney because your family may not be able to access them.

If you decide to prepay, you also will relieve the burden on love ones of the sudden unexpected expense.
